The star of nearly 300 silent films and one of the screen’s first action heroes, cowboy actor Tom Mix was known for his daring stunts, savvy showmanship and signature Stetson, which now resides at the Smithsonian. Our Tom Mix 6X features the same bold, archival Western profile made famous by the Hollywood legend. Handcrafted in Texas from resilient 6X fur felt with a statement-making 4 ½” to 6 ½” sloped Gus crown and 5” bound-edge brim, the Tom Mix 6X casts an iconic shadow while providing full protection from the elements.

Complementing its genuine leather sweatband and full satin liner, the Tom Mix is finished with a wide grosgrain hat band and branding-iron hat pin bearing the initials “JBS”, a nod to our founder, John B. Stetson, whose pioneering legacy lives on in every hat we sell.
